New berthing facilities at the Royal Dock, Grimsby for the use of wind farm service vessels. The berth facilities will form part of the Operations & Maintenance facility for Dong Energy required for servicing Westermost Rough Offshore Wind Farm (WROWF). The site is located within the Port of Grimsby owned and operated by Associated British Ports (ABP).
Dong Energy was installing wind turbines for the Westermost Rough Offshore Wind Farm and appointed Beckett Rankine to design a new pontoon within the Royal Dock of Grimsby Harbour to provide berths for 3 crew service vessels of 20-26m each.
The pontoon is a full service pontoon equipped with bunkering facilities (fuel), freshwater, wastewater disposal, power plugs, lights. The berthing facilities provide access to crane operations as well.
