Beckett Rankine have been appointed by AEG to examine the feasibility of developing a cruise liner terminal for London at the site of the O2 Arena. Providing the project proves to be feasible the aim is to have the terminal operational in time for the 2012 Olympics. The O2 Arena has proved to be a hugely popular venue since AEG took over and completely redeveloped the old Millennium Dome site and a cruise terminal could complement the facilities at the Arena.
