New Cruise Terminal for London

West Properties have commissioned Beckett Rankine to design a cruise terminal and river boat pier at their Enderby Wharf site in Greenwich. Central London has long needed a fully serviced shore connected cruise ship terminal and we are delighted to have been appointed for this prestigious project. The terminal is to form part of a major redevelopment of the Enderby Wharf site which, as well as residential and commercial development, will also include two hotels one of which will operate in conjunction with the cruise terminal.

At the centre of the development is the Grade II listed Enderby House which was built as the offices of whaling ship owner Samuel Enderby. Samuel Enderby is famous for having a ship named after him in Herman Melville’s 1851 novel Moby Dick and an island named after him in the Southern Ocean 300 miles south of New Zealand.
