The owner of Lot’s Ait is seeking interested parties for the re-establishment of a boatyard operation on this well positioned island in the tidal Thames at Brentford.

Situated at the junction of the Thames and the River Brent /Grand Union Canal, the existing facilities cover approximately 0.5Ha, which is approximately half the island’s total area. The remainder of the island is intended to be maintained as ecological sanctuary.

The existing working areas include several buildings, a slipway and four covered docks (2 dry docks and 2 wet docks). There is also 50m of frontage available for mooring, with the possibility of further moorings on the opposite bank. All of the structures are in need of modernisation and refurbishment.

Offers for any other river-related commercial uses are also of interest.
