Why did you join BR?
Having completed my studies at Newcastle University, I began my career as a civil engineer working for a prominent contractor based in the Seychelles. Whilst working in their maritime department, I developed a keen interest in the topic, which ultimately led me to join Beckett Rankine.

What do you enjoy most about working at BR?
I find the nature and calibre of work at BR to be very fulfilling, and appreciate the level of responsibility entrusted to me. This has helped me gain in-depth knowledge of using innovative software and designing complex structures and components. The work environment is supportive with experienced senior staff always available for guidance and mentorship.

What are your future aspirations?
My current focus is on achieving ICE chartership, with support provided by Beckett Rankine’s training scheme and supervision of senior engineers. The opportunity to work on a diverse range of technically challenging projects helps me progress towards my goal.
