Sellafield Ltd’s Energize newsletter (see clipping above) reports on the successful beach landing trials which took place in December 2009. The landings used the unique heavy lift vessel Terra Marique which is owned by Robert Wynn and Sons. Working for Wynns Beckett Rankine prepared the stability calculations, motion analysis and lashing calculations for the THORP Evaporator D modules’ transshipment by sea.
