Why did you join BR? What did you do before?
I studied Civil Engineering in Granada, Spain. After working in different places, I decided to study an MSc at Imperial College related to fluid dynamics and coastal engineering. I found Beckett Rankine following a lecturer’s advice and knew it was what I was looking for; a small-medium size company where you’re involved in all matters of a project and plenty of opportunities for site work.

What do you enjoy most about working at BR?
We have a great team from graduate to director level. When you need support, there is always someone there to help and advise you. I am currently concentrating on developing my project management skills, however, I have also undertaken site inspections, design calculations and drawings. This is the great thing about Beckett Rankine; you get to work on many different aspects of a project lifecycle.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I love to go to walk and play with my dog Loki (German Shepperd) as well as cycling with my partner. I also enjoy a good book whilst drinking coffee, life’s little whims!
