Gujarat Maritime Board’s Chief Engineer Mr BB Talavia visits Bhavnagar with the Beckett Rankine India team following GMB’s appointment of BR to advise on repairs to the leaking impounding gate to the port. The port was originally designed by Sir Bruce White and Allan Beckett in the 1960’s and is now being refurbished for use as a supply base to support the continuing expansion of oil and gas fields offshore north western India.
