On Thursday 26 September, a team of Beckett Rankine staff donned high-vis jackets, gloves, litter pickers and bin bags to clean up the foreshore at Battersea.
The activity was part of the Port of London Authority’s Clean Thames Challenge, an initiative that challenged participants to litter pick along the Thames throughout September.
The challenge aims to reduce pollution and protect the wildlife that call the Thames home. Additionally, it encourages people to get active and connect with the Thames environment, while also building community with others taking part.
After a drizzly one, the team’s efforts were rewarded with a rainbow and clear skies.
Well done to all who took part!
