Gordon Rankine visited the Port of Novorossiysk on the Russian Black Sea with Andrew Thomas and Olga Makarchuk of UKTI. The visit was part of a scoping mission Gordon is carrying out for a UKTI report  on Russian ports. The report will assist UK port sector companies to export in this market. The visit gave Gordon the opportunity to see progress on the NLE container terminal expansion which was masterplanned by Beckett Rankine in 2003. Gordon’s report “Russia, Opportunities for UK-Based Companies in the Ports Sector” will be launched at a seminar in London on 20 January 2010.
