The historic breakwater at Braye Harbour, Alderney was originally constructed over 150 years ago. The structure is located in an area with a severe wave climate and over the years has experienced damage in a number of places. A long-term repair solution was required with a priority for maintaining function and reducing costs.

Beckett Rankine have advised on how alternative construction techniques could be used effectively in this hostile environment. We have also been retained on the "Breakwater Panel" which is charged to supervise the independent review of proposals for implementing repairs.
